PROJECTS PURPOSE

In this project, I am hoping to learn the work of a lepidopterist and a naturalist. I am new to spreading and pinning moths, and I hope thorough working to restore spread moths I gain a greater understanding of the subject. I hope to become more familiar with the anatomy of moths and the process behind displaying them. The most important goal for me is for my project to contribute in a meaningful way to the organizations I am working with. I hope to contribute artistically to both organizations and that I am successful in portraying the species I illustrate.
